Astrological Disk from Chevroches

This unique astrological disk from Chevroches in France is divided into 12 segments. They are inscribed in Greek with the 12 Egyptian (!)  months, the names of the 12 zodiacal signs, and the 12 Roman months. The disk is tiny, it measures just 6.45 cm in diameter!

Due to its size and the hole in its center it is likely that the disk was part of a mechanism / calculating instrument, used maybe in contexts of determining dates or religious events or creating horoscopes,
