Soknopaiou Nesos – Religious center of the god Soknopaios

Soknopaiou Nesos was the religious center of the god Soknopaios, an oracular and healing god in the shape of a crocodile with a falcon head. The place is located in the Fayum Oasis in Egypt and was occupied between the third century BCE to the third century CE.
