Ancient Egyptian beliefs and mythology are preserved in the so-called funerary texts. These writings were created for the deceased to guide and protect them in the afterlife. This video provides a concise overview of the three main groups of ancient Egyptian funerary texts: Pyramid Texts, Coffin Texts & Book of the Dead.
